Remote support

Let us fix it from here

When you are on the phone with us, we can look at your screen and sort the problem without a callout. Enter the six-digit code we read to you and follow the three steps.

Six digits, given to you by Eyre Computer on the phone. Codes expire after 15 minutes.

What happens next

  1. Download. The next page offers a small file called EyreQuickSupport-code.exe. Click Download, then open it. Windows may ask whether to run a file from the internet; choose Run.
  2. Read us the code. A small window shows your support code and says Waiting for technician. Tell us the code is showing and we connect.
  3. Watch and relax. You see everything we do. Close the window at any time to end the session. Nothing stays installed afterwards.

Good to know

  • We only connect during a call you made to us, or one you arranged with us. If someone rings out of the blue and asks you to visit this page, hang up. That is a scam. Our scam guide explains what those calls look like.
  • The connection is encrypted end to end and runs through our own server in Port Lincoln, not a third-party service.
  • Business customers on a support agreement have the permanent Eyre Remote agent installed instead and do not need a code. We still ask before we connect.

Remote support suits software problems: email, printers, slow computers, updates, settings. Hardware faults still need the bench.
